Corndog Creations, Rachelle O’ Brien’s art company, features mixed-media pop shrines made from collected, recycled, and found objects. Corndog Creation Shrines are one-of-a-kind art objects that pay homage to pioneering individuals who have contributed amazing art, music, and film, leaving a lasting impression on pop culture. Rachelle is inspired by rock-n-roll, kitsch, pop art, pop culture and tasty meats.

Rachelle  is also a big fan of corn dogs and most foods on a stick.

Rachelle O’ Brien is a New Orleans

based visual artist and rock-n-roll musician.  She plays bass guitar and sings with all-female hard rock outfit Manwitch.  Their anticipated, debut album “The Great Taste of Rock ‘n’ Roll will be released in 2009. Rachelle also performs in legendary all -girl- Mardi -Gras- parade band Pink Slip, who have rocked Carnival revelers since 2001 with their rolling, punk rock performances.

Corndog Creations are on current display at Pop City, 1127 Decatur Street in the  French Quarter, and at the Big Top, 1638 Clio Street.


On May 9, 2009 Corndog Creations will also be available at the Pop City Annex during the St. Claude Art Walk, 3430 St. Claude Avenue, 6-9 pm.
